A little about me

I'm a farm boy from rural Canada right on the edge of the Rocky Mountains.  I worked on ranches and in an agriculture mechanic shop through high highschool where I became very passionate about classic cars and anything that goes fast.  I spent my free time at the racetrack and in the mountains.  My family spent a lot of time at Kootenay Lake just across the border from Bonners Ferry and from that age, I always wanted to end up here eventually.  After falling in love with the best wife ever and making three moody, emotional, and wonderful children, we made North Idaho our home.

My Experience

From a young age my grandpa taught me how to work on mechanical things and my dad, working in construction, taught me how to renovate homes. After spending time on a Christian mission in Toronto Canada I fell in love with beautiful architecture and natural landscaping. I knew I wanted to work in the luxury home industry, but it took me a while to figure out what avenue fit my character best.  I worked a variety of construction jobs before going to university where I studied construction management, manufacturing engineering, and even took classes in Interior Design and Marketing.  I worked as a drafter using Revit and Lumion inventing new luxury log home modeling methods. I also spent some time as a superintendent building custom  homes in Park City Utah.  Eventually I got into flipping houses and decided a real estate license was a good tool to have.  After rubbing shoulders with some great Realtors I realized the networking, creative marketing, daily excitement and interaction with some of the coolest homes and landscapes around was exactly what I had been looking for.
